10 Amazing Graduation Cakes That You Will Love
Hi guys! The graduation season is just around the corner. It’s such an exciting time for all students graduating from high school, college, and higher education. I thought I’d put together some graduation cakes for inspiration for your college or high school grad or an order for a graduation party.
My Graduation Custom Cakes
Congrats, You Did It Cake
I did this order for a high school graduation party. The customer wanted the cake to match the school colors (purple, yellow, and gold). I used Wilton Fondant Letter Cutters for the letters. I handpainted the drip with edible luster gold mixed with some vodka. I topped the cake off with Fancy Sprinkles Filthy Rich Sugar (CAKEINSPO15 for a sweet discount!)
Tiered Graduation Cake
This cake was inspired by a cake that the customer saw on Wilton’s website. I changed the colors to fit the school colors. The top tier is a 4-inch cake, and I added a fondant block to make it into a graduation cap. I also used the same Wilton fondant letter cutters for the letters.
Texas A&M Letter Cake
This was for a birthday, but this is a perfect cake for graduations using the grad’s first initial and school colors! I used Sweet Stamp Embossing Set in Elegant for the name. I purchased the Texas A&M cookie cutter at a local baking store but you can find the same one on Etsy.
University of Houston Letter Cake
I enjoyed making this fantastic letter cake for a grad from my alma mater. Go Coogs! I found the U of H cookie cutter at the local baking store. (I am not able to find a similar one on Etsy or online)
