15 Beautiful Ramadan Cake Ideas

Hi friends! I am sharing some cake inspiration for Ramadan which is the holiest month that Muslims celebrate. Their Islamic calendar is based on the lunar calendar. Ramadan lasts between 29 to 30 days and has different times every year. Many celebrate by gathering regularly in the evenings, trying to read the whole Qur’an during the month, and fasting from sunrise to sunset. The way to honor Ramadan is to fast by not eating and drinking, including water, while the sun is up. On the new moon sighting(marking the start of Ramadan), Muslims greet each other with “Ramadan Mubarak!” (“Blessed Ramadan”). The end of the Ramadan fast is celebrated as Eid al-Fitr, the “Feast of Fast-Breaking,” which is one of the two major religious holidays of the Muslim calendar. To learn more about Ramadan, here is an article that my friend Hajra wrote about Ramadan. Read on to be inspired for your next Ramadan!
