15 Simple Halloween Cake Ideas That You Can Do
Hi, Ghouls & Monsters! I’m back with my annual Halloween Cake inspiration blog post but this time, I’ll be focusing on simple Halloween cake ideas that you can do or have the cake done for your next Halloween! When I say simple, I am referring to cakes that are not too fussy and with 2-3 sets of cake elements.
Simple Halloween Cake Ideas
Spooky Halloween Cake

I loved making this spooky bloody heart cake! It checks all of my Halloween must-haves for a simple Halloween cake, ruffle buttercream border, sprinkles, blood splatter, chocolate heart, and drip. I know I just contradicted myself on simple cake elements but this is a simple cake for myself. 😆 You can always do a buttercream border, sprinkles, and blood splatter! Setting up the spooky scene for the photography was so much fun as well! I had to add a scary message on the top of the cake to ramp up the creep factor! I used this mold for the chocolate heart, edible red paint (you also can dilute red food coloring with vodka to get the same effect) for the splatter, “Cold Case” Fancy Sprinkles blend which has candy eyeballs, and my trusty 1M piping tip for the buttercream border.

Adorable Halloween Cake

I attended a birthday recently and I fell in love with this amazing mummy & Frankenstein cake, so I had to add this to the cake round up! It’s so cute. The baker did fondant for the mummy wraps and eyes and also for Frankenstein’s eyes. The rest is buttercream. October birthdays are just so much fun with Halloween themes!
