Baby Blue Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Cake

How beautiful is this cake? I just love the faded blue and white gradient effect! The gold stars really makes the cake to pop out, especially against the dark wood background. The cake topper is really adorable which can be found (not exactly but similar) on Etsy.com and Amazon. As for the cake stand, I have a similar cake stand that I got at World’s Market for $15 bucks! You can’t beat this price. I would guess that the stars were made out of gumpaste/fondant and brushed with gold dust.

Cake Perfection! How AMAZING is this cake? Wow. The details are incredible and I love the custom cake topper. SO cute.

Boy Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
I really love the deep blue color on this cake. So rich. I love the glitter on the star topper! Go here to find similar Etsy finds. The cake is done by one of my favorite cake decorators, Shawna McGreevy.  She does all of her designs on her cakes and she usually does cake tutorials on her new website, cakeheads.com. It is full of tutorials, live demos, and discussion. I personally haven’t signed up but I will do soon!! I did buy one of her Craftsy classes, Cakes That Wow! a while ago so I can’t wait to watch it. Mint Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Mint is one of my favorite colors! This is so PRETTY. I love it. The pearls give the cake an elegant touch. The baby looks SO real. I would assume that it is made in fondant. Baby Blue & Silver Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
